If things have seemed a little quiet here lately it’s partly because I’ve been really busy and partly because I’m hard at work on a new concept album. The new project is designed to be the soundtrack to a fictional sci-fi movie, with the mashups themselves revealing the storyline. It’s an ambitious project but it’s going really well at the moment and I have some cracking mashups lined up for it.
City in the Clouds takes place about halfway through the mix and has been a great excuse to use a track I think is fantastic - Out of the Bush from the recently released Fetal Pulse album Cityscapes. It’s a wonderful electronic/ambient album which I highly recommend.
