The Reborn Identity’s Overused Vocal Mix
…and now for something completely different.
Having spent the last few months steeping in soundtracks, strings and smokey jazz I felt it was time for a change of pace. The result was this - a big dumb mix of tracks from some of my favourite electropop acts of the moment with some of the most overused vocals on the scene.
So what do you get? 5 minutes, 10 tracks, 4 mashups mixed into one 300 second chunk of electropop. To make an Overused Vocal Mix at home you’ll need the following ingredients:

Absolutely bloomin’ lovely slab of a track here Gav. Fantastic composition, doesn’t feel like the overused vocals are overused….and would certainly go down well in a mix or on the dancefloor.

Thank you kindly, sir. Once I got into the flow of this one I didn’t want to stop at 5 minutes. If I ever get the time I may slap another 55 on the end and call it an album.

Hey Gavin, just heard this through Nutronic’s radio show now. Really sweet how you’ve added all those (familiar) elements and it’s all cohesive and blends well. Definitely one of my faves of yours!

Thanks, Marc. This is one of my favourites too, so I’m glad you like it. As it happens I was just thinking of starting a video for this one.
