It’s been many months in the making but it’s finally here! Today sees the release of “Mashed in Plastic“, a very special mashup compilation exploring and celebrating the films and sounds of David Lynch - the creative genius who gave life to Twin Peaks, Blue Velvet and Eraserhead.

The 18-track album brings together the mashup talents of Wax Audio, Phil RetroSpector, The Who Boys, ToToM, RIAA, G3RSt, Voicedude, Colatron, The Reborn Identity and Neiltomo, all blended into a seamless sonic movie by Wax Audio:

Mashed in Plastic” has been a labour of love for the men who call themselves 1086 Productions - Gavin (The Reborn Identity), Tom (Wax Audio), Andy (Colatron) and Alan (Linus) - and all the mashup artists involved. We really hope you enjoy it.

    It’s so good to hear that people are enjoying it.

    I’m a huge David Lynch fan, so it was a real pleasure to be involved in this. It was amazing how many mashup producers love Lynch and the music in his films too. We were lucky enough to end up with a fantastic selection of tracks, made even better by the skillful mixing of Wax Audio.
